A Problem That Men Must Face Requires Knowing the Difference Between Rights and Responsibilities

We live in a world of deception and opposites.

It is a world where men crave power over others by claiming to act to uplift the poor, save the sick, and rescue the weak. You are marked for cancellation if you do not buy into these virtuous ideals.

The source of these virtues lies in the new-age communist ideals that seek to create “equality.”

The reality is these virtuous signals are an idealistic sideshow. A show designed to create a distraction from the real show. The real show is the ever-increasing government over-reach into the private lives of citizens.

Part of the sideshow is a sleight of hand that sets different groups against each other.

It creates infighting. Left versus right, us versus them, red versus blue.

The more fighting between groups, the more the virtuous call for legislation to assist in the battle to protect those who can’t look after themselves.

Individuals’ rights and sovereignty are being stripped away to supposedly create safety and security for the “weak.”

Now more than ever, the sanctity of individuals needs to be strengthened and protected. This starts with each man standing up for his right to independence. The right to make his own choices, to do business with whomever he chooses and the right to privacy.

A man can only stand up for these rights if he is mature and wise in the ways of the world. He must embody the wisdom of mature manhood and understand that rights come hand in hand with responsibilities.

Rights are:

• Generally, a privilege granted by law.
• Rights should not place a burden on another person to act.
• Example: The right to free speech.

Responsibilities are:

• A duty to act in a certain way.
• Citizens have a responsibility not to steal or damage someone else’s property.
• Example: The government has a responsibility to enforce the law.

This is the tip of the iceberg. What lies beneath the water is complicated and becoming a responsible citizen who can act responsibly requires men to stand up for their rights and the rights of others.

The first call is to look in the mirror and take responsibility for your life. Once you have done that, you can fight for the rights of others.
